Food Oasis Map

Long Beach Fresh's Food Oasis Map offers a category for Food Assistance, with more than 70 locations city-wide.

​The 2026 updates to the map are made possible in partnership and with support from The Mayor's Fund, Josephine Gumbiner Foundation, community volunteers and donations. In addition to food pantries, food banks, free farmers markets, and hot meal programs, the map list sites where you can get support enrolling for benefits.

Food Aid Assistance for Long Beach

Programs that help you apply for and enroll in CalFresh (SNAP), Medi-Cal, WIC, General Relief, and related benefits.


LA County DPSS — South Special District Office
1500 Hughes Way, Suites A100 / A150 / A175, Long Beach, CA 90810 The County office that administers CalFresh, Medi-Cal, General Relief, and CalWORKs.

Expedited CalFresh is available within 3 days for very low-income households.

Non-citizen victims of trafficking/DV (T- or U-visa applicants/holders) and VAWA self-petitioners can apply without an SSN.

Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (closed weekends and County holidays).

Community-based Assistance

United Cambodian Community — Benefits Enrollment Center 2201 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804 (Cambodia Town) UCC's Benefits Enrollment Center (BEC) helps low-income seniors and persons with disabilities enroll in SNAP/CalFresh, LiHEAP, Medi-Cal, and other programs. Bilingual Khmer/English staff. Also assists with immigration paperwork. TCC Family Health — CalFresh & Benefits Enrollment Assistance
Primary HEO location: Vasek Polak Family Health Center, 1057 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813. Available system-wide across TCC's 13 Long Beach-area sites. TCC's Health Education & Outreach Department assists patients and community members with CalFresh enrollment alongside Medi-Cal/health insurance enrollment, rental and utility assistance, and connections to food pantries, farmers' markets, diapers, cribs, and other essential items. Catholic Charities — Long Beach Community Services Center
123 E 14th St, Long Beach, CA 90813 Part of Catholic Charities of LA's San Pedro Region. Serves low-income families with CalFresh application assistance alongside food, clothing, utilities/rental aid, and transportation. Serves the broader Long Beach community regardless of faith. LA Regional Food Bank — CalFresh Outreach (Long Beach service area)
Outreach workers rotate through Long Beach community sites, LBCC, senior centers, and partner clinics. HQ at 1734 E 41st St, Los Angeles, CA 90058. Pre-screening, application help, and post-application follow-up. The team also helps non-citizens (T/U visa holders, VAWA self-petitioners, qualified immigrants) navigate CalFresh. WIC (Women, Infants & Children) — for pregnant/postpartum women and kids under 5WIC helps families buy eggs, milk, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other essential healthy foods. Families on Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, or CalFresh automatically meet income eligibility.
