Who’s making this happen?
The program is an initiative by local food nonprofit, Long Beach Fresh, to bring fresh, local produce to markets. It is funded by the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and made possible by the Long Beach Recovery Act. Our source farms are Grow2Zero in West Long Beach, The MAYE Center @ The Growing Experience in North Long Beach and the Harbor Area Farmers Market that happens around town each week.
